    From mid-November through March, pods of humpback whales spend the winter calving months in the gentle, warm waters off Costa Custodio. Our experienced guide, Armando, guarantees that you will see whales on his excursions which leave a short walk away from your villa. 

    Unlike the large excursion boats in Puerto Vallarta, your small party will have a personal experience, often be able to get quite close to the whales, yet without the harassment that often occurs in more crowded conditions

    In addition to the whales, your excursion will often find schools of dolphins, manta rays, and occasionally even the magnificent whale shark, a friendly spotted 30 ft giant, that is totally harmless and allows itself to be petted.
